So, what do I upload to flickr?
That’s the question I’m asking myself right now. Philadelphia was probably the most photographically productive trip I’ve had in years. I took over 1200 photos - probably a third of which will probably end up on my Flickr - so I’m basically swimming in photos to possibly upload and I’m like, boggling at how much stuff to sort through.

Oh, and...
… also walked into a necking couple at City Hall tonight. We were wandering about the place and came to the Market Street entrance - where there are a pair of HUGE stairways on either side. I was like “Oh can you go up these? No barricade. I’M GOING UP.” And I did.

Overwhelmed.
With Philadelphia. In a good way. Spent the day on what was probably one of the most epic photowalks with my friend Jim. Probably the most enjoyable day I’ve had in an incredibly long time. It was full of laughs, photographing (over 440 shots today) yabbering, and just fun in general.
Just really happy right now. In a warm and fuzzy way. I don’t deserve such incredible friends.

Packing up

Seriously. Excited. 2008 was the last time I was north of the Mason-Dixon Line. My cap for the trip is complete (little finishing work on the inside got done this morning.) My clothes assembling for packing is 3/4ths complete (just waiting on a little laundry) and that should be it.

Basically. I have a tiny bit of finish work on the inside. I literally stayed up all night to finish it because I WILL have a new cap for Philadelphia, come hell or high-water. (or high-waters, in the pants form. On me, that’d be hell. Yes.)

Experiencing project fatigue.
The cap has to be done by Wednesday in order to be worn in Philadelphia.
The braid embroidery is nearly complete. The fill-in embroidery is started and already has proven to go really fast. I could knock all of it out, I think, in a day.
