After 18+ hours in transit, it’s actually kind of nice to be back home.
#Philadelphia 2012
Mechanical problems. Incompetent airlines. Alternate routes and stuff. Today WOULD have been a completely shitty day.
But, when we finally took off tonight, after spending nearly twelve hours at Philadelphia International Airport - and the plane made a slow spiraling ascent above City Center, its wing dipped toward the incandescent netting of the city, with city hall clearly in its center, I could not have thought of a better way to finish a trip that has exceeded all expectations.
